Biography
Started by his deep passion for sports and automotive, Klaus Kneist is pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling with his commercials. As an artistic director, he is never satisfied with the ordinary or what has „always been done that way“, but constantly brings in new ideas and likes to try things out before they become a trend.
Coming from his background as a DP, in which he’s not only been involved in many commercials, but has also shot several feature films he is ambitious to always create cinematic worlds in which you can lose yourself. Especially in the longer formats he realized what it takes to make something feel real on screen. You’ll may also see him as a directing DP when he can’t keep his hands off the camera.
He has worked with a number of international brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, Mini, smart, Audi, Adobe, L’Oréal, Coca-Cola, Jack Wolfskin, Siemens, Bosch, O2, vodafone and many more.
With his dedication to details and extraordinary concepts, Klaus highlights the magic in the unseen, while always striving for the most sensational result.
