„Luägsch das öppis «Richtigs» lernsch!“,
brummte mein Opa stets. Und wer bin ich, Lukas, der Familientradition zu widersprechen? Also ab durch die Mitte, mit paar Schlenkern – vom Maurerlehrling über die Arbeit mit Hochpräzisionswaagen, die zwar Erdbeben erfassen, nicht aber mein Interesse – bis ich schliesslich an der National Film School in London landete. Nun mache ich «richtige» Filme. Privat stehe ich irgendwo zwischen Katzenfreund und Battle-Rap. Gerne pointiert. Stets dialogbereit. Und logisch – der Name Fröhlich ist bei mir Programm.
Ich, Mirjam, steh auf echte Stories – raw, ungefiltert, mit Ecken und Kanten. Zwischen grossen Emotionen und rohen Speckwürfeli als Pausen-Snack finde ich meine Balance. Mit meinen Werbe- und Dokumentarprojekten bewege ich mich zwischen den Weiten des Fiktiven und den Grenzen des Realen. Mal herrlich abgefuckt, mal frisch aus dem Ei gepellt. Als Regisseurin lebe ich für kreatives Chaos und die grosse Frage: Was passiert, wenn man die Welt mal ordentlich auf den Kopf stellt?
Biography
Mirjam and Lukas not only found love in their creative work, but also in each other. But don’t be fooled by the niceness of this lovely couple – they’re not only in deft command of their projects but also have razor-sharp humor. Yes – working as a couple results in a clash of opinions. But isn’t storytelling about conflict and resolving it? Lukas has an eye for detail, Mirjam sees the picture as a whole. Lukas provokes, Mirjam strives to get through to the core of the human soul. It can be challenging at times. But by embracing their differences and working together as one, they are in a unique position to tell stories from a multi-angled point of view.
